Saturday, September 28th was the annual Member Appreciation Dinner. Our Club president Dean Van Doren and Linda Riel organized the dinner at the American Legion Post 49 in Albuquerque. We were very fortunate that our friends from Amarillo, who had joined the Tin Lizzies on the Portales Tour in May, were able to make it to Albuquerque for the Member Appreciation Dinner as well as the premier of the “Wheels of Yesteryear” documentary of the Portales tour produced by KENW, the public television station in Portales, NM.
There were over fifty club members and guests present at the dinner and everyone had a good time. The evening was capped off with dancing to country western music.
