New business

From our recent board meeting Telephone Truck & Trailer and the possibility of selling it or finding someone to house it at their place (somewhere secure) since there are no Telephone Pioneers left in NM. No decision was made. Just a reminder that we own a mini–Model T which was donated by Stan & Janice. It is currently being housed in storage. Also, from recent board meeting regarding absentee voting. Pro would allow members to vote via USPS with con of at least three (3) months’ time frame involved to have all ballots by November meeting. Additional con would be cost of mailings (back & forth) and how to control mailings (use outside private company (3rd party) to collect and count (additional costs). To do something like this, a two-thirds vote of the voting members as per Article XII of our Bylaws would be required. Further investigation on this issue needs to be conducted.

An email was sent regarding a wedding in September. They are looking for a T to take them from Old Isidro Church to Los Poblanos Farm. If no one volunteers, then Mr President will drive. The club has a spare tire cover “JUST MARRIED”.  Will confirm date & time.

Rich Ford Albuquerque on Saturday March 26 @ 10 am Mustang Café will be open and vendor hot dogs onsite.

Program

Coordinated by President Mark: What did you do in 2021? A lot of good submissions and everyone was guessed with some quicker & easier than others. **

Meeting adjourned 8:00 p.m.

Respectfully submitted by Linda Riel, Secretary
