Rich Ford Anniversary Car Show – Edgewood (Aug. 27, 2022)

Story by Linda Riel, Photos by Sharon Dominguez

Several Tin Lizzies gathered at the SW corner of Central & Tramway. Jeff & I headed out ahead of everyone else since we were trailering the Dilts’s Touring. The rest of the group started showing up shortly after getting unloaded & set up (Don Mitchell, Larry Azevedo, Dave Ferro (with dog), Paul & Marilyn Duncan, Brian Dean & Kirk Peterson met us there. Vaughn Rockafellow even showed to give support.

Turns out there a little bit of trouble for both Mark Dominguez & Mark Wing just after heading out but since the issue was taken care of and they were able to get back on their merry way, the Little Peep Award goes to them.

It was a beautiful day to have the cars on display. The Model T’s joined some T Birds who beat us there, so everyone walked around, talked & checked out the cars. As in the past, we kept an eye on the sky for any major cloud build up but none to be had, only a slight breeze with the occasional little gust.

It was the first time not having any radio stations on hand doing their broadcast and the public turn out was a lot lower than in the past but there were still hot dogs that we did not hesitate to gobble up.

Around 2 pm we were all packed up and headed home.

Thank you all for making this year a success.
