Workday at Larry’s Garage (Sept. 3, 2022)

Story and Photos by Paul Duncan

Eight Tin Lizzies showed up to work with Larry at the work day September 3, 2022. Larry had some of his own projects but he mostly assisted others. Jim Glover is rebuilding an engine, Mark Wing was using the sand blaster box to clean a 1911 part. Paul Duncan was taking pictures for the website and newsletter and assisted where he could. Dave Ferro had oil leaking onto his Rocky Mountain Brake shoes so he replaced the oil seals on both rear axles. Larry, Paul, Steve Kranz and Jim assisted him. Vernon Armstrong came. He reports that his mother Jo Ann is nearing 92 and her is having some health issues. It was good to see Vernon and he met Steve Kranz for the first time and learned that Steve had purchased Don Souther’s T. I suggested Steve get together for driving lessons from Vernon since he knows the Souther T well. Sharron and Al came by for a wheel puller as they are getting ready for the Socorro Tour.
