Call meeting to order at 6:38 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance
Welcome any new members and guests – Rene Ibarra aka Dario joined us from visiting with Mark W when the T’s were at the State Fair.
Officers Present: Mark Dominguez, Vaughn Rockafellow, Linda Riel & Kirk Peterson
Board of Directors Present: Phil Lance (via zoom), Jeff Richards & Mark Wing
Minutes from the September meeting were approved as published on our website.
Officer Reports:
President Mark Dominguez – welcomed 22 members in attendance with quorum established. Phil, Larry A, Don N & Fran G attended via Zoom.
Vice President Vaughn Rockafellow – raffle (tickets .50 each). There were 5 bags of goodies with winners Neil O, Linda R, Steve K (2 times) & Dave F. The “free” table has goodies for the taking. Winners of raffle were gently encouraged to take 3 items each.
Secretary Linda Riel – nothing
Treasurer Kirk Peterson – reported on the current bank balance, expenses and monies deposited. Kirk P made a motion that $2,000 be allocated to Larry A for purchasing of parts with Vern W 2nd. Motion carried
Standing Committee Reports and Volunteer Coordinators:
Car Council Steve Kranz – the 15th Open House Car Show Pizza Party took place with about 50 attendees including Mark D (had a lot of inquiries to sell his Tudor). Tickets were given out for a drawing and everyone got something. The drag way was busy. Working with President of the 66 Hot Roders for a possible joint venture on a swap meet for 2023. Last meeting of the year.
Email Jessica Lance – (absent) from previous meetings; provide information to be sent out as far in advance as you can. When replying to an email, reply to the sender themselves and not the Tin Lizzies email. Other than that, all is good.

T n Vittles Linda Riel – November 12 is hosted by Don N @ Ironwood Kitchen located 5740 Night Whisper Rd #250 (Unser Plaza).
Meeting Refreshments Linda Riel – tonight provided by the Gauna’s (Janice) & the Dominguez’s (Sharon) plus Susan W sent some bundt cake for us.
Newsletter Paul & Marilyn Duncan – getting ready for the next issue November/December which should be out in early December. Linda R inquired about the Rich Ford write up & Membership Update which was published but not what was submitted.
Webmaster Sharon Dominguez – updating accordingly. Looking if anyone took pictures from the recent work party on 10/8. Larry A will provide a recap.
Hospitality Fran Gurule – get well or thinking of you cards sent to Susan W, Tom & Cathy, Tom MacGugan, JoAn A with a mention of Brian D having recent eye surgery.
Librarian Mark Dominguez – let me know what you would like prior to our meeting, text call or email. See under Roy Young Memorial Library on our website which includes manuals to help with the tinkering.
Quartermaster Larry Azevedo – Neil O still owes a Bendix (extremely hard to locate), Phil L a 32” fan belt, Jim G sm timer gear on back order, a cam is on back order as well, Paul D set of plugs points.
Historian Marilyn Duncan – No report.
State Fair contact Mark Dominguez – nothing till 2023.
Tour Coordinator – currently no one
Unfinished business (Old):
State Fair – President Mark forgot to mention the 2 awards given out on that day. Mark W for Most Favorite & Dave F for Special Appreciation.
September 25 Fall Harvest at Los Luceros Historic Site was attended by Skip D.
Valencia High School Paul D – a possible visit will be made during the week of 10/31 after not being there since May/June. Looking to have more participation from the students on this project so a meeting will be forthcoming with Anthony & the Principal.
T n Vittles on 10/8 hosted by Phil & Jessica L @ Range Café in Bernalillo. A few members attended & 0 T’s.
October 8 work party after breakfast to pull the engine out of Andy A’s T to see what was going on from the tour. Found that the timer was an issue as well as the plastic coils and the starter cover. Changed out & running pretty good.
October 8 Veterans Memorial car show had no Tin Lizzies in attendance.
October 22 Elk’s Car Show was attended by Stan G, Neil O & Mark D who all enjoyed the chili dogs & frito pie which was made available.
The photo contest from our recent tour to Socorro will be held at our next meeting on 11/17.
Montana 500 in St Regis, MT meeting (about changing some rules) attended by Larry A (appointed as a director), Kirk P & Dave F as well as several members via online. Was able to get some much-needed change of rules done. Can now use Snyder connector rods and carburetor specs changed. Next race will be Father’s Day Weekend 2023 in Fort Benton, MT.
New business:
November 6 the Elk’s Lodge will be hosting a “free” dinner for Veteran’s. Email will be sent.
Next month’s meeting refreshments for 11/17 (1 week early due to Thanksgiving) will be provided by our men of the Club for “guys with pies” our yearly time-honored tradition for 23 years now. Linda R will reach out to individuals to bring drinks.
Elections for 2023 will take place on November 17. Vice President Vaughn R is in charge with help from our board of directors. Currently on the slate is President = Mark D, Vice President = Vaugh R, Secretary Marilyn D & Jessica L & Treasurer = Kirk P. The 3 Board of Directors = Phil L, Jeff R & Dave F. Night of elections will welcome other nominations (need not be present but would need to reached by phone to accept the nomination). Vaughn R brought up having a “club mascot” & mentioned Dave F’s dog Kensi against Andy A’s dog Jackie & any other member’s dogs (dogs need not be present for voting).
Membership Renewal is now, so please pay and turn in your monies to Kirk P and notify Linda R of any change in information.
November 19 the organization putting on the Nutcracker is looking for donations to help fund the production. Email will be sent from Sharron G on behalf of her granddaughter. A silent auction will be held & a raffle in which the winner (2 people) will enjoy a ride in one of our member’s Model T during the Starlight Parade on 12/3.
December 3 Holiday Party & Corrales Starlight Parade. Larry & Lorna have offered use of their barn. Dinner furnished by Mario’s will be $5 payable by the November meeting 11/17 with ice t, lemonade & coffee will be provided. You can always bring your favorite libation. See Sharon D. Be at Azevedo’s by 4:30 pm to decorate & head to start of parade route @ 5.
MTFCA Elections are in the process for 2023. See ballot in current issue of Vintage Ford. Contact Larry A for questions on the candidates. There are 5 for the 3 positions. Ballots need to be received by 12/15.

Work Party Updates –
For Sale or Trade – John Hayne had some of his T parts on display.
Tonight’s Program – Part 2 of Wheels will be postponed so tonight Mark W brought in a variety of coil boxes from various manufacturers from over the years in wood to metal with the variance in design to accommodate the cowling to wood fire wall and for T’s with & without starters. Some later model kits do not fit correctly. Earlier model had porcelain glazed insulators. A lot of reproductions.
