Call to Order:
President Mark Dominguez called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m.
Pledge:
President Mark Dominguez led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Welcome:
President Mark Dominguez welcomed everyone to the meeting. We did not have any guests or new members. 25 Members present and four on Zoom (Cameron, Donald, Philip, and Jessica Lance) quorum met.
Approval of minutes: The minutes of the March 23, 2023, meeting minutes are approved as published. Per THE MODEL T FORD CLUB OF AMERICA – OPERATIONS MANUAL – 2020.
Officers’ reports:
Vice President Report– Vaughn Rockafellow presented this month’s raffle items.
Raffle items were:
- 1. Wd -40
- 2. Antifreeze
- 3. Hand cleaner
- 4. Magnet Dash plug and a lubrication chart
Vaughn demonstrated how to make a funnel in a jiffy with a plastic bottle.
Secretary’s Report- Jessica Lance Jessica reported we had an email sent to the club.
We received an email from a member of the Mustang Club. “A friend and I stopped by last Saturday to see your show at Rich Ford. I wanted to let you know that the club members we interacted with were excellent ambassadors for the Tin Lizzies of Albuquerque. A warm welcome and readily answered our questions. A great introduction to your club. Best Regards, Barry – RGMC member.”
Treasure’s Report– Kirk Peterson reported the following: balance report at the previous meeting, a list and explanation of receipts/expenses and the current balance.
Committee reports.
Car Council– Steve Kranz reported that NMCCC SPONSORED EVENTS FOR 2023 :
May 21, 2023– Albuquerque Museum Car Show, “cars with tailfins” is the theme, expected 300 cars, $10 day of entry fee.
July 8, 2023– Collector Car Appreciation Day cruise and ice cream to follow.
August 13, 2023– Car Council Picnic
September 24, 2023– Fall Car Show and Cruise
The Cadillac La Salle club is having a show 6/24 at the Marriot Pyramid.
E-Mail– Philip & Jessica Lance: We currently have no bounce back emails. We encourage sending announcement to the tin lizzie email address for club distribution for any upcoming event or general news we can use.
Telephone – Linda Riel reported we have three members receiving reminder phone calls. If you want to be added let her know
T n Vittles– Linda Riel reported we have openings, and Don will be hosting May Tn Vittles, location will be announced via email.

Website- Sharon Dominguez, requested members to please send photos of your car. Send in your article for the website. Host of a T n Vittles and event story and pictures. Listed all items on the website: newsletter, calendar, waiting on the TnVittles article. Calendar items need to be sent via email, items to be listed should be Lizzie appropriate.
Hospitality- Fran Gurule reported she sent get well cards to: Rick S, Bob H, Judy G, Rebecca W.

Quartermaster– Larry Azevedo reported club parts that are owed are:
cam shaft, brake pedal support, crank gear, 23 in tire flap
Historian- Marilyn Duncan had nothing to report.
Newsletter- Paul & Marilyn Duncan. The Duncan’s won the MTFCA newsletter of the year award.
Meeting Refreshments Dave and Duncan’s provided by our mid-meeting snack.
Old business
T n Vittles– On April 8th at the Central Grill, our host Dave F said we had 2 model t and about 12 attendees.
Work party Please visit the website to see the progress on various Tin Lizzie vehicles.
Telephone Truck update- Phil Lance. We are still waiting on the transporter to contact and make arrangements. Larry A, reported on what he did to ready the Telephone truck, including purchasing a new battery. Motion made by Sharon, 2nd by Neil to reimburse Larry A for purchasing a battery for the telephone truck in the amount of $172.35
Presentation by the Willan’s to Betty for opening and closing the center for us. The item was a custom-made wooden plaque.
Valencia High School– Paul Duncan nothing to report

- • No Work Partys being planned. The garage will be used for the Montana 500 car preparation.
- • April 30th 7am to 3pm 5th Annual Car Show supporting Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico to the NM this could be an easy tour.
- • Hats and Tea, 2:00 p.m.-5:00 pm, The Historic Fairview Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd NE. Albuquerque, NM.
- • Homecoming at the Model T Museum, May 31-June 3 in Richmond, IN
- • Corrales Tractor and Car Show June 3, 2023, 9:00 to 4:00 pm, Recreation Center Front Soccer Fields
- • June 17, 2023, from 9:00 to 3:00pm, Car Show at Sagebrush Church on Coors and La Orilla Rd NW
- • June 18-21, Montana 500 in Fort Benton, Montana , Larry, Kirk, and Dave will attempt to each take their cars for the race in Montana.
- • June 18-23, MTFCA 2023 National Tour Manhattan, Kansas
- • 4th of July Parade- Lorna &Larry, more info to come.
- • Sept 10th State Fair. More information to come.
- • Fall Tour Sept 20th -24 Durango coordinators: Dominguez, Peterson , Azevedo and Andy Andrews, Spring Hill Suites offered $179 for a king suite, per night.

- • June 3rd Breakfast, rides at 8 am and breakfast at 9 am. Residents are looking forward to riding in the cars.
