Meeting called to order 6:28PM.

 

Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Welcome new guest David Raikes.

 

Tonight’s program Joe Baird-member of Tumbleweeds V8 Club.

 

Refreshments provided by Steve Krantz and Tom Miles. Thank you.

 

Minutes from last meeting approved (spelling error will be corrected).

 

Vice President report: Jessica Lance-Raffle items available.

 

Secretary Report: Fran Gurule- Nothing to report.

 

Treasurer report: Marilyn Duncan- Gave income and expense report. Also gave membership report. The club has 94 members.

 

Car Council: Dave Ferro Attended meeting. Photos needed from Car Show at the museum. Events of coming year discussed. See Car Council website for details.

 

Email: Jessica Lance-All well. No bounce backs.

 

Telephone: Linda Reil-Calling 5 people. Let her know if you want to be called about club events.

 

Meeting Refreshments and T n Vittles: Linda Reil- still have openings. Please volunteer. Last breakfast had 17 people and no T’s. Next T n Vittles at the Vineyard with a visit to Sandia Ridge Nursing Home after breakfast.

 

Newsletter: Paul and Marilyn Duncan-Newsletter will be out next
week. Newsletter editors received Golden Quill Award.

 

Valencia High School: Paul Duncan- Still working with the school.

 

Historian: Marilyn Duncan: Nothing new.

 

Website: Mark Dominguez for Sharon-New items posted . Website working well.

 

Hospitality: Fran Gurule- One card sent to Langdon family.

 

Librarian: Mark Dominguez-Books ready to be checked out.

 

Quartermaster: Larry Azevedo-Showed chart of inventory replaced.

 

Work Parties: Larry Azevedo- Several projects worked on. No new work parties until after Montana 500.

 

Museum Car show had seven T’s and was good exposure for the club.

 

For Sale or Trade: Vernon & Betty Houston’s 1919 T is for sale. Steve Krantz has more information.

 

Program: Joe Varig gave program on Galesville Limited. (a school bus expanded to look like a train and used as a camper in the late 1940’s and 1950’s).
