Meeting called to order 6:30 PM.

 

Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Welcome guests Gus & Deborah Van de Veld, Anthony Wagner & Bob Hayne.

 

Refreshments provided by Sharron Geilenfeldt & Rita Loy.

 

Minutes from June 27, 2024 approved as published.

 

Vice President: Jessica Lance: Not present.

 

Secretary’s report: Fran Gurule:Nothing to report

 

Treasurer’s report: Marilyn Duncan: Income from raffle and dues deposited, reimbursed Larry & paid meeting room rent.

 

Car Council: Nothing new to report. Check out website.

 

Email: Jessica Lance (not Present) Bernice Young not receiving emails.

 

Telephone: Linda Riel : Calling from list. Let her know if you need to be called.

 

Meeting refreshments & T n Vittles: Linda Riel: Still have spaces to fill.

 

Newsletter: Paul Duncan : Newsletter will be out in few days.

 

Valencia HS program: Paul Duncan:Nothing new but did find parts for the schools T.

 

Historian: Marilyn Duncan: We now have 96 members.

 

Website: Sharon Dominguez : Posted T n Vittles & work party. Website working well.

 

Hospitality: Fran Gurule: Cards sent to Kameron Peterson sympathy(death of his Mother), John Hayne get well.

 

Librarian: Mark Dominguez: Books ready to check out.

 

Quartermaster: Larry Azevedo: Two items out.

 

Work Party: Larry Azevedo: July 6, 2024, worked on carb repair, tire changing & engine wear. Next work party

July 27, 2024.

 

T n Vittles report: Mark & Susan Wing: Held at El Patio. 20 people attended with 5 cars.

 

Rich Ford and Power Ford car shows coming up in August and September.

 

John Hayne’s closeout sale: Nine members purchased all John’s inventory, cleaned out & recycled what couldn’t be used.Raffle held.

 

Program: Gus & Deborah Van de Velde discussed sheep farming in Corrales especially Churro sheep (Navajo sheep) and also discussed the shearing and the processing the wool.

 

Celebration of Life held for Cathy Miles. Ten members attended.
