Story by Linda Riel; Photos by Mark Dominguez
It was a cold and wintery night…..oops, wrong story….As has been the routine for several years now, everyone met at the parking lot of Sprouts located Central/Tramway to roll on out by 9:15 am.
We had a total of 10 T’s (yeah) & 12 Tin Lizzies with 2 of our furry members Kensi & Jackie. As is our fashion, we mingled around to visit and showed our T’s and answered many questions.
The Lion’s Club was there providing hot dogs, but we you guess who was one of the first in line…..Stan & Mark. Andy’s dog Jackie almost got a hot dog away from Stan and tried it several times with others as they were trying to eat.
This weekend was not Big Foot but another car jumper that was a smaller type version set up in the empty field next to the dealership. Scheduled times were 1pm & 3 pm so of course we were there watching and getting a dust bath. The car team came over and looked over the T’s afterwards. About 2pm, we started packing up our chairs, coolers, loading the t’s (2 were trailered) and headed home. As far as I know, everyone made it home safe & sound, which is always a good thing.
The weather was pretty much ideal for Edgewood considering past times. Little breeze but comfortable temperature wise.
Thank you all for showing up & making this year a success.
