Vaughn Rockafellow has been organizing the Tin Lizzies showing at the State Fair for many years. We assembled at a nearby shopping center parking lot and made the short drive to the Fairgrounds at 8AM.
The day was beautiful and the club members enjoyed the food, exhibits, rides, and relaxing under the shade of the trees. This Sunday fell on September 11th, and the State Fair program included a memorial for this important day, now 15 years ago.
At 3PM, the State Fair provided a police escort for us to depart the Fairgrounds. The street was cleared so we could parade out of the Fairgrounds. It was an enjoyable day and everyone had a great time. Thank you Vaughn for organizing this event!
