Senior Tin Lizzies of Albuquerque member Betty Housholder coordinated our car show and annual breakfast at the Vineyard Retirement Community on Edith Blvd. where she is resident. The Vineyard’s club house is the location of our club meetings which fall on the fourth Thursday of the month. We had nine club cars there that day including Betty’s 1921 coupe, the Wing’s 1924 coupe, Steve Suttle’s 1925 coupe, Dave Ferro’s 1918 depot hack, the Peterson’s 1925 coupe, Don Mitchell’s 1926 Tudor, the Dominguez’s 1927 touring, and the Azevedo’s 1915 speedster “the Lorna Special” and their 1921 Faultless Raceabout.
The folks at the Vineyard had prepared the breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and fruit. After breakfast, Vineyard residents and guest were given rides in the Model Ts.
Thank you Betty for organizing this event and to the residents of the Vineyard Retirement Community for hosting the breakfast!
