Breakfast at El Patio (July 11, 2020)

Story by Mark Wing. Photos by Paul Duncan and Mark Wing

Dave Ferro organized the first Tn’Vittles breakfast since the COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from meeting as a group. In compliance with the New Mexico health guidelines, Dave found a venue with outdoor dining and social distancing. El Patio restaurant, at the intersection of Griegos and Rio Grande Blvd. in Albuquerque’s North Valley, fit the bill nicely. El Patio has, as the name suggests, a very nice shady patio seating area for groups of 4 at a table. The shade was very important because the Albuquerque area was in the middle of a heat wave with a high temperature that day of 103 degrees!

We arrived before 9AM and the nice folks at El Patio greeted us warmly and enjoyed seeing our cars. We had 15 club members and a total of 6 cars. The food was very tasty and it was nice to see some of our club together again after so long a hiatus!

Thank you very much Dave for organizing this event.
