Breakfast at the Vineyard (June 7, 2014)

For this Saturday morning, Betty Housholder organized the annual Tin Lizzies breakfast and gathering at the Vineyard Retirement Community on Edith Blvd. in Albuquerque.  Betty and her friend Norma (also a club member) are residents at this retirement community and it’s also the location of our monthly club meetings.

Nine Model T’s showed up for this event as well as twenty Tin Lizzie members.  The residents at the Vineyard served scrambled eggs, chipped beef on muffins, has browns, fruit, juices and coffee.  When everyone had had their fill, the Tin Lizzies provided Model T rides to anyone who wished.  We had several enthusiastic riders and everyone had a wonderful time.  We hope that, in addition to Betty and Norma, that other Vineyard residents join our club.  We stressed that ownership of a Model T wasn’t a requirement and that anyone who enjoys these quirky and wonderful antique cars is very welcome to join us!

Thank you to the generous residents of the Vineyard and to Betty for organizing this event!
