Larry and Lorna Azevedo hosted the annual Light parade event at their home in the Village of Corrales. Everyone began assembling at 4PM to decorate the cars and to begin setting up the appetizers in the Azevedo’s barn. In addition to the Tin Lizzie club regulars were some young guests brought by Roger and Janie Burton, Paul Velarde and his son Thomas, and the Greenwood/Defoor family and their kids Liam and Eddy.
At 5PM everyone drove their T’s to the staging area on Corrales Road to wait for the sun to go down. The cars were very festive looking with colored lights and other decorations. The evening was dark and cold, but the spectators were enthusiastic and everyone had a lot of fun. After the brief parade, it was back to the Azevedo’s barn for a potluck of appetizers.
Thank you Larry and Lorna for hosting this event!
