Story and photos by Mark Wing (unless otherwise noted)
Earlier in the year, the Tin Lizzie’s of Albuquerque club members had voted to return to the Cooperage Restaurant in Albuquerque for this year’s holiday party. Sharon Dominguez organized this event and has done so for many years. The Cooperage is well known for their Angus beef prime rib and their extensive salad bar. Other entree’ choices included salmon and chicken. Over fifty club members attended this party and it was a great opportunity to get together with friends and reflect on the past year’s events.
After the ample and delicious meal, President Paul Duncan recognized various club members for their contributions to the club. At the end of the presentations, long-time club member Kirk Peterson humorously swore in the new Officers and Board Members on a copy of the Model T service manual.
It was a very enjoyable 2019 Holiday Party. Thank you to Sharon Dominguez for organizing this event and to all the officers, board members, and other volunteers who make our club among the most active and successful of the MTFCA chapters!
