Rich Ford at Edgewood (Aug. 19, 2023)

Story and Photos by Linda Riel

Tin Lizzies gathered at the SW corner of Central & Tramway. Jeff & I had gone on ahead of everyone so he could get his T unloaded and for me to see where they would have us staged. The rest showed up within minutes and got set up.

Turns out that Jeff had an issue with starting his T and got it going only to stall and needed to be pushed into place in the lineup. A couple of Tin Lizzies helped me push as well as two Rich Ford Employees. The Little Peep Award goes to Jeff.

It was a beautiful day to have the cars on display. The Tin Lizzies joined The Poco Cuatros . Everyone walked around, talked & checked out the cars and we did not hesitate to gobble up hot dogs. As in the past, we kept an eye on the sky for any major cloud build up but none to be had, only a slight breeze with the occasional little gust in which one demolished my umbrella.

Thank you to Paul & Nancy Musgrave, Mark Wing, Mark & Sharon Dominguez, Vern Willan, Paul & Marilyn Duncan, Larry Azevedo, Dave Ferro & Jeff Richards. RitaLoy showed to give support. A total of 13 Tin Lizzies and 8 T’s.

Jeff had difficulty starting his T so many thanks to Larry for helping him get it going. Turns out the issue was the fuel line getting plugged. So again, Little Peep Award.

Around 2 pm we packed up and headed home.

Thank you all for making this year a success.
