Rita-Loy Simons was our host for the August T ‘n Vittles this month.

Nineteen Tin Lizzies gathered on a cooler August morning for breakfast at El Patron on Wyoming. We all sat around a large outside table on the north side of the restaurant. Members brought 5 T’s: Mark and Susan Wing came in their ’25 Touring; Paul and Marilyn Duncan came in their ’27 T Roadster Pickup; Don Mitchell came in his ’27 Tudor; Tim O’Brien came in his beautifully restored and painted 1923 TT Firetruck. He demonstrated the working water pump which he restored with Larry Azevedo’s help and painted with the help of club member Al Schwanke. He showed the decal celebrating the O’Brien family commitment to firefighting beginning in 1944 when Neil’s dad joined as a firefighter. Larry and Lorna Azevedo arrived in their yellow #21 Speedster. Larry showed us his high jumping skill by trying a roll over the 3′ fence around the patio and caught his foot-Groan!!
