Tin Lizzie Breakfast at the Azevedo’s Home in Corrales (June 5, 2021)

Story and photos by Mark Wing

Larry and Lorna Azevedo generously offered their home in Corrales as the site of the Tin Lizzies breakfast for June. Although New Mexico is doing well on the COVID-19 front, with far fewer cases and probable heard immunity, local restaurants are still restricted to 6 people per table and only 75% occupancy. With these restraints, finding a venue that could accommodate the club is still very difficult. Larry and Lorna provided most of the food, with other members contributing juices, fruit, and baked goods. The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed getting together again after such a long period of not being able to meet in person. With the pastoral green lawns and the shade of the cottonwood trees, it was an enjoyable, relaxing, and tasty Tn’Vittles breakfast! The breakfast was immediately followed by a Work Day at Larry’s Garage.

Thank you Larry and Lorna for your hospitality!
