Work Day at Larry’s Garage (Sept. 7, 2021)

Story and photos by Paul Duncan (edited by Mark Wing)

At this Tuesday work day at Larry’s Garage, club members worked on Don Neidigk’s 1926 Coupe. Larry, Dave and Don worked on the body steel patches and welding. Paul wire brushed the rust on the undercarriage and Marilyn came in with her Eastwood silver rust encapsulator. Dave made a sheet metal patch utilizing a flanging tool. Larry welded an area on the front in the firewall area. Don and his grandson Ben worked with Kirk Peterson on the Front wheels and they were installed on the chassis. We are ready to re-mount the body and get it running next week. This has been a body-off restoration which has taken a year to complete. It will be a very nice running and looking Model T once it’s complete!
