Work Day at Larry’s Garage (Aug. 13, 2022)

Story by Larry Azevedo, Pictures by Linda Riel

Dilts’s Touring was brought in to get checked out with the help of 15 members including newbie Raelyn who did not hesitate to get greasy and even made a lock for the exhaust nut. Had to jump start the battery and got it going but there was a funny clunk – possible dry bearings? Transmission checked out OK. Raelynn pulled the timer & replaced it, coils were checked, replaced the tail pipe & manifold gasket. Brakes still need to be adjusted. Came in for a diagnosis and was released the same day.
