This was tour departure day from Albuquerque and Santa Fe for our club members and their guests. Leaving at different times, everyone eventually made it to Ruidoso (approximately 180 miles from Albuquerque).

Some club members were delayed in Albuquerque on I-25 for some important person leaving town (they never discovered who it was that stopped traffic and then caused traffic to move slowly behind the motorcycle policemen).

Some travelers had lunch in San Antonio at the Buckhorn Restaurant, now famous for chili hamburgers after a Bobby Flay throw down. Most participants had reservations at the Best Western Pine Springs Inn, but some folks stayed with friends.

Happy Hour at the Pine Springs Inn brought the club together under a gazebo with a fireplace for good snacks, friendly fellowship, more good snacks, and a lot of laughter. There was so much food , we didn't need to go out for dinner. See the pictures attached to see what you missed!
