2010 Texas T Party
Tour
On September 29th through October 2nd, the Azevedo's and Peterson's
attended the 33rd Annual Texas T Party held in Amarillo, Texas. The Space
City Ts of Houston hosted the tour. Tom and Janice Christofferson of
Fredricksburg, TX joined us on the 4 day tour.
Wednesday's tour was a 123 mile drive into lower Palo Duro Canyon. Lunch consisted of
hugh Texas ribs served on the rim
of the canyon.
Thursday's tour was a 67 mile drive into beautiful Palo Duro Canyon State
Park. Tour pictures were taken that day and lunch was brisket served at the
amphitheater. On our way back to Amarillo we drove on Historic Route 66 and visited Antique Shops.

Friday's tour was just 52 miles.
We visited 3 museums. First the Vintage Autohaus, Second some locally owned antique cars in Canyon, TX. After
lunch we toured the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum on the campus of West Texas A
& M. Then that it was back to Amarillo to show our cars
at the Ford Dealer.
Saturday, our last day, was a 108 mile tour. First stop
was the Cadillac Ranch to paint a Cadillac black, then on to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. The residents of the ranch prepared barbequed hamburgers and
hotdogs. The drivers of the T's gave rides to the kids at Boys
Ranch. Bus Tours were given of the Boys Ranch to anyone
interested. Friday night was the closing banquet, held at the
host hotel.
