 2010 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

On Sunday morning, October 3rd, seven Tin Lizzies were on display at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Betty Housholder organized this show of Model T's on the lawn outside of the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum. Participating in the event were the Housholders, the Gaunas (including grandkids), Don Mitchell, the Dominguez family and friends, and the Wings. With thousands of spectators in attendance, the balloon liftoff was a spectacular site with the "special shapes" balloons especially amusing and awe inspiring.

Club members answered questions from admiring and curious visitors and also participated in a mini-parade in support of "Travelin' Jack", a bulldog running as New Mexico's Independent 2010 DOG-ernatorial CANINE-DIDATE!  This fund raising and pet adoption stunt worked as the Dominguez and Wing families adopted dogs that day!

Our thanks to Betty Housholder for organizing this entertaining annual event!
