Breakfast at the Wing's and Rich Ford in Edgewood 13th
Anniversary Car Show
As we had the previous year, the Tin Lizzies were invited to show our cars at the Rich Ford
dealership in Edgewood, NM in celebration of their anniversary. Prior to the car show, Mark and Susan Wing
hosted a breakfast at their house in the foothills of Albuquerque.

After breakfast, everyone jumped into their T's for the trek to Edgewood,
located appoximately 45 minutes (by Model T) east of Albuquerque via old Route 66. Ten Model T's made
the trip and lined up on the north side of the Rich Ford parking lot. The weather was warm, but
punctuated with the occasional summertime drizzle. In addition to the Tin Lizzies, the "Pocos
Quatros" (Little Fours), the local Model A Ford club, were also in attendance. It was a good opportunity
for our club to talk to the Model A folks about their cars. The lazy afternoon was spent sitting in
the shade, eating pizza, hot dogs, snow cones, and talking to curious onlookers about our cars. At three PM,
everyone headed for home after a full but satisfying day!
Thank you to Dean and Linda for organizing this event!
