There were other projects in progress
that day. Dean had brought along a box of coils for testing. Paul and Russell were dismantling and
cleaning Paul's transmission out of his 1920 touring car. The triple gears and clutch
plates appeared to be in good condition, but the triple gear bushings were a bit loose. Luckily, Larry had
new bearings on hand so there was no delay in the transmission reassembly.
Mary Ann O'Brien had prepared some delicious chicken and rice
casseroles and it was supplemented with fresh bread, cookies, and drinks. It was a very enjoyable
and satisfying lunch break.
Thanks again to Larry and Lorna for graciously openning their house and garage to the club,
and Mary Ann and the other club members who contributed food and beverages for the lunch!
