Work Party at the Azevedo's Garage

The work party at the Azevedo's on June 27th was well attended and bristling with activity.  Larry and Lorna had recently returned from Northern California and brought back two cars formerly owned by Larry's father and Model T expert  George.  Both cars are both rare and exotic.  One is a 1915 Coupelet that George very accurately restored.  All parts on the car are correct for 1915.  The only major project left to be done is to make and install a top.  The second car, a Faultless bodied Raceabout, was a frequent participant in Northern California speedster runs.  The body was made by George and is based on an original Faultless bodied car.  Both cars are absolutely beautiful and wonderful additions to the Azevedo's collection and the Tin Lizzies roster of T's!

Other projects that day included Neil working on the transmission of his son Tim's fire engine.  Neil was carefully filing the worn clutch housing to receive spacers for the clutch discs.

Brian brought is newly restored 1912 speedster in to adjust the car's high speed shifting.  He was also confirming the differential gear ratio.

Paul and Vernon were focused on installing valves in Paul's touring car engine.  Larry has the equipment to grind and cut the valves to the correct length.
