Work Party at the Azevedo's
Garage
Larry called for a rare work party on a Thursday to make further
progress on the Model T engine destined as a fund raiser for the National Model T Ford Museum in Richmond,
Indiana. A lot of progress was made at the last work party of Saturday, March 10th. At that
time, the engine's camshaft, crank, lifters, and valves had been installed.
The tasks for this day were to finish the transmission assembly, and mount it to the engine,
and install the pistons. On hand helping Larry this workday were John, Jahn, Kirk, and Dean. At
the end of the workday their mission was accomplished and the engine project made terrific
progress! Thank you to these senior Club members for donating their time to the Museum and working
toward a goal for the benefit of Model T enthusiasts everywhere!
