Work Party at the Azevedo's
Garage
Larry and Lorna hosted a work party on Sunday, May 29th, the day after Gabriel and Samantha's
wedding. Coming to a work party for the first time were Vern and Pat Williams and Ted and Jo Harris.
The Williams have had a 1927 touring car for decades and used to belong to the Tin Lizzies around 35 years
ago. Ted and Jo are new to Model Ts having just purchased a 1924 touring and 1926 Tudor from the same owner
in the South Valley only a couple of weeks previously.
There was a lot of activity that
day. Steve Suttle brought his 1925 coupe to install a newly rebuilt starter and bendix. Paul Duncan was
working on remounting the transmission/magneto to the engine for his 1920 touring. Neil and Tim
O'Brien were focusing on rebuilding the transmission for Tim's 1923 fire truck. Mark Wing was using Larry's
blasting cabinet to strip the paint off a license plate/tail light bracket and a firewall for a 1925
touring car that he anticipates acquiring.
Our thanks to Larry and Lorna
for so generously opening their home and garage to the club!
