As sunrise approached, the
conventional and special shaped balloons began to lift off creating a spectacular site! Among the surprises
that day was Linda's gift of a balloon ride by Dean. She reported that the ride was absolutely
fantastic! As all the balloons became air borne, more spectators left the balloon field and came by
to look at our cars and ask questions. Neil allowed people, and especially children, to sit in
his 1920 Luverne fire truck and ring it's bell. The Balloon Fiesta was a great opportunity to talk to
folks from out-of-state, and even some people from other countries, about our hobby.
Our thanks to Betty Housholder for organizing this fun event!
