Before making the climb up the Sandia Crest Road, the Club took Old Hwy 66 to North Hwy 14
and stopped at a Shell gas station to top off gas tanks and regroup. The drive up the Crest Road was quite a
challenge for the T's and a lot of the steep climb was via the low band pedal. The picnic area was
approximately 2,000 feet higher than our origination point in Albuquerque
