The Dilt's had planned for a picnic site a bit past the Sandia Peak Ski area, but when
we were near this destination, a closer unoccupied picnic ground looked very attractive as our cars were getting
hot and our left legs tired from pushing so hard on the low band pedal. We changed plans and thought the
alternate, and lower elevation, picnic area was just fine! The lunch of stew, beans, chips, cobbler, fruit,
and cookies was delicious thanks to Julie and our other lady club members who generously planned and
prepared the meal.
The mini-tour was a lot of fun was only mared when the Gauna's depot hack broke down once
they were back in town. Thank you to Russell, Julie, and all the other
contributing members who made this scenic outing so fun!
